Citrus fun
In my grandma's back yard there is this large orange tree that my little brother and I love to get oranges from and just sit there and eat. But it seems like every time my brother tries to peel his orange he gets the juice in his eyes and is a lot of pain. So today he, without a doubt, got orange juice in his eyes and started to whine. I was laughing at him like crazy and he started to get a little upset. He looked at me then at his orange and said "thats it!" and with that he threw his orange onto the ground and stomped on it as hard as he could. Thats when the idea hit me. I ran to the shed and grabbed one of my old baseball bats. Threw one of the oranges up into the air and hit it as hard as I could with the bat. We both thought it was the coolest thing ever seeing orange chunks flying everywhere. So for the next 20 minutes following we were smashing oranges in the craziest ways possible. Not gonna lie, that little kid surely knows how to have some fun. Today really was one hell of a day.

The Start
I realized today that most people including myself go through life without noticing all the little things that we were given. I was walking my 5 year old brother home from school today and he stopped me to look at how the sky looked liked a big pool. I was walking the entire time worrying about what I wanted to do in life and where on earth I would find a job and I was too busy to even notice the nice sunny, and cloudless day that we had before us. So then I took him to the park where we played on the playground and then got some ice cream. I only had to spend about 5 dollars and had such a wonderful day. Sure we shortly went home and he tried wrestling me and when i told him it was time to stop he kept going so I did the only thing that could make him stop. I stuck my finger in my belly button and stuck it under his nose. he then presumed to run in terror saying "it smells so bad it hurts!" Which had me laughing to the point where I was crying. But it was one of those days where I can look back and say I enjoyed something that didn't require me to spend every penny I have. ( which, to be honest, isn't that many pennies.) But the point of this blog is to share every day, a little thing that made my day better or even changed my day completely. If you would like to share about your day please feel free to do so. Thanks to all who took the time to read this I hope you enjoyed it and I hope to hear from you about your day as well.
